Who we are
Warden OS ("Warden", "we") is made by Weenja. Questions about your data: hello@getwarden.app.
What we collect
- Account. Your email, name and profile picture from Google or Apple sign-in, the display name you pick, and your crew name.
- Guarded app usage. When one of the apps you chose to guard is in front, and for how long, so we can spend your points and lock it at zero. We never see what is inside any app. On Android this uses Usage Access. On iPhone it uses Apple's Screen Time API, which keeps app details on your device. On computers and in browsers, the Warden app and extension report only when a guarded app or site is in front.
- Health and fitness (only if you connect Health Connect or Apple Health): step counts, exercise sessions, and heart rate during workouts. We use them only to work out your points.
- Focus sessions. Start, end, pauses, and whether the phone was face down (from the motion and proximity sensors, never the camera).
- Device data. Device model, system and app version, a push token, and an integrity token from Google Play Integrity or Apple App Attest that helps us stop cheating.
- Purchases. Your plan and seats, from Google Play or the App Store through RevenueCat. We never see your card.
- Crew activity. The events your crew sees: points earned, pauses, quits, apps removed from your list, nudges.
What we do not collect
No location, no contacts, no messages, no browsing history, no photos, no microphone or camera, no advertising ID. Warden has no ads.
How we use it
To run the points system, lock and unlock your guarded apps, show your crew what the rules say they can see, send nudges and reminders, stop cheating, and help you when you write to us. We do not use your data for advertising and we do not sell it.
Health Connect data
Warden's use of information received from Health Connect follows the Health Connect Permissions policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We read only what you allow, use it only to calculate points, never use it for ads, never sell it, and never share it except with the processors below that store it for us. People at Weenja do not read it unless you ask us to, or for security or legal reasons.
Who we share it with
Only the companies that run parts of Warden for us: Supabase (database, sign-in and servers), RevenueCat (subscriptions), Google Firebase Cloud Messaging and Apple Push Notification service (notifications), and Google Play and Apple (purchases and app integrity). Your crew sees what the app shows them. We share data with authorities only when the law requires it.
This website
getwarden.app uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It sets no cookies and does not track you across sites.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is limited to the people who need it, and changes to points are logged.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account exists. When you delete your account, we delete your data within 30 days, except records the law makes us keep, such as purchase records.
Your choices
- Turn off any permission at any time in your phone's settings.
- Leave your crew at any time. Your crew sees that you left.
- Delete your account in the app (You → Delete account) or as described on getwarden.app/delete-account.
- Ask for a copy of your data or a correction: write to hello@getwarden.app.
Age
Warden OS is for people 18 and over.
Changes
When this policy changes, we update the date at the top. If a change is big, we tell you in the app first.
